Transport and luggage tips for Korea events and pop-ups
A guide to subway timing, airport transfers, lockers, luggage storage, and post-event crowd planning for Korea visitors.
1. Transit-first plan
Use subway-first routes for Seoul events when possible. Taxis can be useful late at night, but they are not a reliable first choice after concerts, fireworks, or large river events.
2. Bag strategy
For shopping-heavy days, check station lockers, hotel luggage storage, and whether the final venue is comfortable with bags before adding another stop.
3. Airport buffer
Airport transfer days need conservative timing. Duty-free pickup, tax refund, baggage, security, and terminal movement can all take longer during holiday or concert travel periods.
4. Exit plan
On event pages, include the practical exit plan: nearest station, likely crowd bottleneck, backup station, and whether visitors should eat before or after the event.
